JOY Club

The JOY Club is our senior adult ministry that is open to all senior adults (55 or older) in the community. A wonderful lunch is served at 11:30am followed by a great variety of programs. It is a time for fun, fellowship, and a chance to meet new people. An occasional trip to NarrowWay Theatre in Fort Mill has been included in this ministry as well as an occasional day trip.

SISTERS (United Methodist Women)

Sisters in Service Together Exalting the Risen Savior

The SISTERS are an intimate, fun, and caring group of Christian women who enjoy gathering for fellowship, service, and sharing our love of Christ with each other. Our group is comprised of women from all ages and stages of life who love, support, encourage, and mentor one another while keeping each other grounded, accountable, and lifted in spirit and prayer. We are a safe place to talk about life’s challenges as a woman, a mom, a wife, and a Christian through devotions and personal conversations. We are actively serving as the hands and feet of Christ through many mission and service opportunities while sharing the love of God through word and deed. We celebrate each other’s victories and grieve each other’s losses. We hold church-wide events throughout the year to help support all members of our church and community. We praise God in everything and acknowledge him in all we do – for WE are HIS beloved! WE are a SISTERhood!

Please check the weekly bulletin or church website to confirm meeting info. We invite all women from both campuses to attend.  We hope you will join us!

Taste of Mill Grove

Each year, the SISTERS group at Mill Grove hosts a fundraising evening of fun and food. The Taste of Mill Grove is similar to The Taste of Charlotte, but with a little dash of something extra! Church members can sign up to be a ‘vendor’ and showcase the dishes they are best known for by providing small ‘bites’ for ticket holders to sample. In addition to sampling food from wonderful cooks, there will also be live and silent auctions. This is a family and community event!

How can you help?

  • Be a ‘vendor’: Cook your best dish and serve a little ‘taste’ to those attending.
  • Provide items for the silent and live auction.
  • Attend! The more the merrier!

All proceeds will go toward helping families or individuals in need within the church or community and will be distributed by the SISTERS.

Men of Faith (United Methodist Men)

“Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” -Proverbs 27:17 (NASB)

Our men’s fellowship at Mill Grove has adopted the name “Men of Faith,” and our mission is to “be the hands of feet of Jesus in our church and our community.” We welcome all men of the church to join us in fulfilling our mission and in building a stronger bond of fellowship between the men of Mill Grove. We’re always looking for ways to serve in our church and the community; if you see a need with which we can help please speak up!

All men of the church are invited to our monthly breakfasts and we encourage you to bring a friend!
